The room at Welcome Madeira Apartments was super cozy and inviting, making me feel right at home. The king size bed was like sleeping on a fluffy cloud, and the walking closet made it so easy to keep everything neat and organized. The open kitchen and living room layout had a great flow, perfect for chilling out after a long day of exploring.
Personally, I found the shower in the WC a bit cramped, but hey, it might still do the job for others.

I absolutely loved the decoration of the apartment, it felt so modern and new! The general areas were well-maintained and clean, making it easy for me to navigate around as a senior woman. The accessibility for senior people was excellent, with no stairs to climb and wide doorways perfect for walkers or wheelchairs.
I wish the children working there had provided some assistance with carrying my luggage.

amazing location, close to Santa Maria Road and the ocean. The owner was kind and knowledgeable. The bed and terrace were wonderful. Would highly recommend the nearby restaurant, Taberna Madeira. Can't wait to return!
More towels would be helpful.

Mountainous landscapes: The conquest of impressive mountains that rise from the sea to the sky, walking along the Levadas - the primitive irrigation channels that measure more than 3000km - is one of the most fantastic experiences to have within the exuberant nature of Madeira. It's like embarking on a magical journey through nature's own rollercoaster!
Limited towels for long stays.

I absolutely loved the decoration of the apartment! It was so modern and clean, with beautiful furnishings and a lovely color scheme. The general areas of the hotel were also very well-maintained and easy to navigate, which was great for someone like me who is a senior. The accessibility for senior people was top-notch, with wide hallways and well-placed handrails throughout the building.
The only thing I would ask for a better vacation for senior people is more assistance from the children working there. Sometimes it would have been nice to have a helping hand with carrying my bags or getting directions to nearby attractions.

The street outside the apartment can get quite noisy, especially during rush hours.

The value for money was excellent, with a spacious and well-equipped apartment that exceeded expectations. The location in the heart of the old town was convenient and the staff provided great recommendations and responsive communication.
The breakfast offerings could be improved with a wider selection.

Walking along the Levadas was a fantastic experience! Diving in the clear waters allowed me to see amazing marine life. Porto Santo's golf course was top-notch. Madeira is the ideal destination for adventure and relaxation.
Oh, I just loved hearing all the cars passing by in the street outside my poorly isolated door. So charming!

The apartment was fantastic - clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. The location couldn't be better, right in the heart of the city and close to restaurants and public transport. I also loved the fact that the apartment had a terrace, where I could sit and enjoy the evening breeze after a day of exploring.
There were a few minor issues that I encountered during my stay. the fridge didn't have a freezer compartment, which would have been handy for making ice.

The apartment was absolutely mind-blowing - clean, comfortable, and had all the amenities we needed for our stay. The location was super, right in the heart of the old town and just a few steps away from the cablecar. It was so easy to find, and the keypad entry meant we didn't have to wait around for someone to let us in. We were lucky to be upgraded to the top floor apartment, which had a jaw-dropping terrace where we could enjoy the evening breeze. The bathroom was nice with a great shower and toiletries, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. We were sad to leave and would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting!
